Moodboard Studio

Terms of use

Moodboard Studio is operated by Tutor Aid Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Using the service means agreeing to these terms. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask us at moodboardstudiosupport@gmail.com.

What the service is

Moodboard Studio turns a written brief into a composed moodboard, using photography from Unsplash, your own Pinterest account if you connect it, and images you upload. It runs as a web app and a Figma plugin.

Your boards are yours

You own the boards you make. By saving or sharing a board you give us only the licence we need to operate the service: to store it, display it back to you, and display it to people you share it with. We claim nothing else, and the licence ends when you delete the board.

The photographs have their own licences

The pictures on a board do not become yours or ours by appearing there.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to distribute malware, or to harass anyone. Do not scrape the service, resell access to it, or deliberately work around its limits. We can suspend accounts that do; where reasonable we will warn first.

Free and paid

The service is currently free, within usage limits that keep it viable. Paid plans may be introduced; when they are, prices and what they buy will be stated plainly before you pay, and payment will be processed by Stripe under their terms. We will not move an existing free feature behind a paywall without notice.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service up but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features may change as the product develops. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give notice and a way to export your boards first.

Liability, plainly

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Tutor Aid Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is nothing. None of this limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in. We can terminate accounts that break these terms. You can leave at any time: delete your boards in the app, or email us and we will delete the account entirely.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales — though if you use the service as a consumer elsewhere, you keep any protection your local law gives you that cannot be agreed away.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date above changes and the new text appears here before it applies. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance; if you disagree, stop using the service and, if you wish, ask us to delete your account.
